4 Days/ 3 Nights in Nairobi

Day 01 – Arrival in Nairobi Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to the Kenya Comfort Hotel (2*) or Best Western Plus Meridian (3*) or Nairobi Safari Club (4*), where you are booked on Bed and breakfast basis depending on choice of hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be briefed on the rest of the days programme.   Free Relaxation Day

Day 02 – Nairobi (with Full Day Lake Nakuru National Park Safari)  Early breakfast and then depart Nairobi at 0730 hrs and drive to the Great Rift Valley, where you will stop at the view point for great picture opportunities. The Great Rift Valley is geologic phenomena, which divides Kenya neatly down the length of the country essentially separating east from west. Today's Rift Valley is characterized by uninhabitable desert and fertile farmland, flat arid plains, steep escarpments and 07 lakes in Kenya. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will embark on a game drive that will take you around the shores of the lake, famous for its birdlife especially flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake. Other game available includes Lions, Rhinos, Buffaloes and otters. Lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge and then enjoy an afternoon game drive as you exit the Park and drive back to Nairobi.

You will be dropped off at Hotel

Day 03 – Nairobi (with Full Day Excursions) Breakfast and at 1000 hrs, commence the days excursions by visiting the Daphne Sheldricks Elephant orphanage.  This sanctuary is located inside Nairobi National Park.  Baby elephants, orphaned by poachers and natural causes, are given 24 hours care by their keepers who became their replacement family.

Visit the Giraffe Centre. Giraffe Centre was established in an attempt to save the endangered Rothschild giraffe.  The Giraffe Centre is home for about 14 resident Rothschild giraffes and visitors have the opportunity to hand feed, observe and even kiss these friendly Rothschild giraffes and take a guided walk through the sanctuary.

Lunch will be on own arrangement followed by drop off at Hotel

Farewell dinner tonight will be the famous Carnivore Restaurant.  A restaurant that has twice been voted amongst the world’s 50 best restaurants by UK based Restaurant magazine.

Day 04 – Departure

Day of leisure -  transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight arrangements.   BON VOYAGE !

2 Nights Masai Mara Safari

ITINERARY  

Day 01 – Drive towards the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for great picture opportunities. The Great Rift Valley is geologic phenomena, which divides Kenya neatly down the length of the country essentially separating east from west. Today's Rift Valley is characterized by uninhabitable desert and fertile farmland, flat arid plains, steep escarpments and 07 lakes in Kenya. Descend to the floor of the Rift Valley and proceed to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the AA Lodge Masai Mara (3*) or Keekorok Lodge (4*) / Similar. Short siesta and at 1600 hrs, enjoy your first full game drive in the sprawling Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at the lodge / camp.

Day 02 - Masai Mara  Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively Considered by many to be Kenya's finest game reserve, the 650sq miles of the Masai Mara adjoin Tanzania's well-known Serengeti, forming one ecosystem.  The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra.  From June to September, the annual Wildebeest migration takes place when thousands of these animals sweep across the plain and seek out new grazing areas. All meals and overnight at AA Lodge Masai Mara (3*) or Keekorok Lodge (4*) / Similar.

Day 03 – Depart Masai Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant. Thereafter, drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (or your designated location within the City).

3 Nights: Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Safari

Day 02 – Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara National Reserve.

Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous game reserve, the Masai Mara arriving at AA Lodge Masai Mara (3*) or Keekorok Lodge (4*) / Similar,  in time for lunch.   Short break and at 1600 hours, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
